The Last Sunflowers

Cait photographed this Autumn Beauty several weeks ago before the first hard frost hit and the House Finches descended for a Fall feast.

It’s been soul-satisfying watching the birds gorge themselves on the many sunflowers we planted near the kitchen windows this year.

    I am with Cait on sunflowers i am growing maximillian perennial sunflowers this year,also smaller branching sunflowers as well,strawberry blonde,sonja,moulin rouge,and baby bear.these are great cut flowers the huge ones i leave for the birds.get planting right away.L
